Detailed Engineering Design for the Laguna Central Project

AMH was engaged by GDC as primary civil works consultant for a 33ha commercial development which forms part of a larger 300ha concept development in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. The engineering consultancy services included site grading and the design of the utility infrastructure required for the new development which includes drainage, water distribution, telecommunication, sewage collection, and electrical distribution systems.

Camella-Davao Civil Works Design

Camella Communities tapped the services of AMH for the road network, pavement structure and drainage design of Camella's Positano Project. The requirements called for the review of the comprehensive master plan for modifications on the site grading plans (as needed), structural design of waterway crossings based on the hydrologic and hydraulic study, design of typical road cross sections and preparation of the budgetary cost estimates. Services also included modeling of the existing and proposed slopes and determination of required slope protection measures.

Highview Royale Engineering Study & Design

Highview Royale is a 6-hectare residential development bounded by waterways on part of its perimeter. Sections of the key perimeter wall collapsed as a result of excessive rainfall brought about by typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng. AMH was engaged to render assistance in the assessment and design of selected wall sections/slopes in order to determine failure modes and provide parameters for mitigation and restoration work. The services included geotechnical sampling and testing, conduct of topographic survey, and structural design of earth retaining systems to ensure long-term stability of the slopes.

Special Engineering Studies for the Calaca Coal-Fired Power Plant

AMH was engaged by DMCI Power, Inc. to evaluate its newly acquired coal-fired power plant in Calaca, Batangas. Located along the shore line of the Balayan Bay and bounded by the outfalls of Dacanlao and Cawong River, the study consists of a broad scope with multiple fields including the assessment of sea-water resources, surface and underground water resources, geo-hazards, flood risks, coastal risks, and wave climate of the beachfront. The project site covered 168 hectares with a 1.6km beachfront, including an existing port facility.

Engineering, Planning & Design for the Solen Residences Project

Greenfield Development Corporation engaged AMH to provide engineering inputs for the conceptual master planning, preliminary and detailed engineering design for the 50-hectare Solen Residences Project located in Greenfield City, Sta. Rosa, Laguna. Solen's residential community will be supported by amenities such as a clubhouse and will have numerous water features (serving as detention ponds for water runoff) and landscape-laden sidewalks.

Engineering Assessment of Selected Slopes (EASS 1) for Tagaytay Highlands

Belle Corporation engaged the services of AMH to conduct engineering assessment of selected slope failures in twenty (20) locations inside fourteen (14) communities/ main roads within the Tagaytay Highlands Complex. The slope failures and other erosion/drainage-related concerns were brought about by the extreme rainfall associated with typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng in 2009. AMH undertook slope modeling using Rocslide® analysis software and prepared detailed drawings to support corrective work.

River Scour Potential, Slope Stability Analysis & Armor Design for Orange Grove

AMH was engaged by Filinvest Land, Inc. in 2002 to conduct a study which will determine measures to arrest the scouring of existing slopes of the project, which is situated beside a river. Services included hydraulic and geotechnical modeling and stability analysis.

Evaluation, Planning, Design & Construction Supervision of Infrastracture Projects for Mirriam College Foundation, Inc.

AMH was engaged by Miriam College as civil works consultant and has been involved with the institution since 2001. AMH has undertaken traffic studies which has included traffic counts, modelling and simulation; a detailed review of the schools utility infrastructure which included mapping, assessment and proposal of solutions for water supply and distribution, electrical supply and distribution, sewage collection, road pavement condition and drainage; detailed designs for roads, walkways and fiber optic rehabilitation, topographic surveys; soil sampling and evaluation; construction support and provides advisory services for improvement of school facilities.

Geotechnical Assessment for the 700 MW Pagbilao Power Plant Ash Lagoon 6

AMH was engaged by Team Energy to undertake geotechnical assessment of the Pagbilao Power Plant Ash Lagoon 6 located in Isla Grande, Ibabang Polo, Pagbilao, Quezon. The proposed ash lagoon will serve as another storage area of the by-product of Team Energy's plant operations in anticipation of the full utilization of Ash Lagoon 5 by 2012. Liquefaction and slope stability analyses were conducted in order to come up with a cost-effective design and optimize the height of the embankments of the impoundment.

Geotechnical Assessment & Design Review for the 2-300 MW Coal-Fired Mariveles Power Plant

GN Power Co., Ltd. engaged the services of AMH to conduct the design review and geotechnical evaluation of the two 300 MW Coal-Fired Power Plant located in the town of Mariveles, Bataan. The consultancy services included slope stability analysis, soil bearing capacity computation and identification of geohazards. Design of structures and facilities were also reviewed to ensure compliance to national codes and standards.
