Description of Representative Projects

Design, Tendering Assistance and Construction Management
of Division Office Buildings for the DepEd Third Elementary Education Project (TEEP)

AMH served as primary consultant for the planning and implementation of the non-school building component (Luzon Cluster) of the TEEP in seven (7) provinces (Batanes, Aurora, Benguet, NEAP-Baguio, Kalinga, Abra and Apayao. The Luzon Cluster services commenced on October 2004 was completed in December 2006. Two of the sites involved detailed investigation and assessment prior to the preparation of a rehabilitation plan, while the rest involved new construction. AMH conducted site investigation works (soil sampling and testing, geo-resistivity surveys and relocation/topographic surveys). The implementing agency was the Department of Education supporting each of the beneficiary DepEd Divisions, while financing was through the World Bank and the Japan Bank for International Cooperation.

Construction Management for the DLS-STI MegaClinic Fit-out Project

AMH was engaged by the Delos Santos Medical Center and STI, who have collaborated as DLS-STI for the delivery of premium health care services through the MegaClinic Project, located at the 5th Level of the SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City. The 2000m2 walk-in facility shall house facilities such as an Eye Center, Renal Center, Derma Clinic, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Lasik, Diagnostics/Laboratory, CT Scan, as well as Operating Rooms. AMH served as primary consultant for the procurement of the Contractor's services and management of the 24-hour construction. The project formally opened in January 2007.

Contractor's Quality Control for the Union Church Devt. & Verdana Homes

AMH, in association with Surequest Development Associates, Inc was engaged by the Makati Development Corporation, the construction arm of the Ayala Group of Companies for the development (Union Church - Makati), review and updating of construction quality programs (Verdana); review of detailed design plans and technical specifications, provision of support during construction work for the sampling, inspection, and documentation of works. AMH also provided value engineering services in the course of the consultancy work.

Project Management & Technical Support Services for the UP College of Engineering

The UP College of Engineering enlisted the expertise of AMH in project management to effect the rehabilitation of existing 1 and 2-bay classrooms in order to provide physical facilities conducive to both instruction and learning by UP COE faculty and students. AMH was also engaged to prepare the structural as-built plans of Melchor Hall.
